Thomas Singer, Navajo, is one of the most famous Navajo Silversmiths.  His work is known world-wide, and he has a very distinctive style which can be recognized by most collectors of fine American Indian Jewelry.  He was taught silversmithing by his father, Tsinnigine Hathali, who was a Navajo Medicine Man.  Tommy (as he is called by some) has been silversmithing since he was seven years old, and is the inventor of the chip inlay method, which has been adopted by hundreds of other jewelry makers.  Tommy makes fine beaded necklaces, intricately designed silver overlay work on bracelets, finger rings, ear rings, pendants, bolo ties, belt buckles, and other items.  He often uses 14 Karat Gold overlaid on silver, and his skills in creating "storyteller scenes" particularly on his bracelets are unsurpassed.
