There are literally dozens of Navajo Silversmiths named "Begay", but there
is only one Calvin. Calvin is amongst the best of the Navajo Silversmiths.
His distinctive work includes very intricate and superbly finished
and polished inlay work. He makes various kinds of inlay jewelry, but
he may be best known for his inlay bracelets and pin/pendants. They
are typically finished and polished to perfection and he has won numerous
awards at the the annual Gallup Inter Tribal Ceremonial for his work.
He won the "Best of Show" award in 1998, and his work has been featured
in various books and magazines, including "Arizona Highways"and other
Southwestern publications. Calvin has been silversmithing since he
was ten years old, and is a master designer and craftsman. Calvin
Begay was born in Gallup, New Mexico in 1965 and raised in the village of
Tohatchi in northwestern New Mexico.
And, of course, our policy still holds - if you don't like it, send it back within 20 days for a full refund on it's purchase price!
